Encounter Groups) to prevent HIV/AIDS among young people
using the Bharthe Kadam curriculum in Hindi

Youth Against AIDS
The Christian youth of today hold
the key to our common future. We are convinced that
God is calling young people to stand in the gap and
boldly help a generation that is being destroyed by
the silent scourge that HIV is.
In order to help Youth fight against AIDS, we at Jeevan
Sahara are happy to share a powerful tool that the church
can use to reach out to young people at risk of HIV
- Youth Against AIDS Clubs.
YAA Clubs
The Youth Against AIDS Clubs are
adolescent encounter groups which meet weekly over 3
months. Each YAA Club meeting is an action-packed time
for young people to understand themselves, their bodies,
their relationships and how God desires healthy and
happy families to be. The interactive sessions are guided
by the Barthe Kadam curriculum - a powerful set of lessons
which have been tried and tested across North India
.
